Please read carefully. Please note the following related to all Summer School Classes:
- The last day to sign up for any Summer School classes described on this website is Friday, May 22nd, 2015 at 3:30pm. All sign-ups close after this date/time.
- Classes are open to Komarek and non-Komarek children.
- If a class does not meet the minimum needed by the deadline date, the class will be canceled. A full refund will be issued. A parent may opt to transfer tuition to another class that is running and has space for additional students. Classes with multiple sections may have the sections combined due to low enrollment.
- All classes have a maximum of students allowed. Once the maximum number is reached, no new students can enroll in that class. A parent may transfer tuition to another class that still has enrollment space.
- Payment for Summer School classes must be made in full when the registration form is turned in. Payment must be made by cash, check, money order, or cashier's check. Any returened checks for insufficient funds will be assessed a $45.00 fee (to cover fees incurred by the district from the bank). NO CREDIT CARD payments will be accepted.
- If you sign up a child for classes that overlap by time or date, no refund or partial payment will be allowed. The child must notify the teacher that he/she is enrolled in two courses that run at the same time. It is up to the teacher's discretion to provide materials or work that will be missed due to the conflict.
- Students attending any Summer School class(es) are subject to the rules and guidelines established by Komarek School. Students can be permanently removed from a class or classes for improper behavior. A pro-rated refund will be issued if a child is permanently removed from any class.
- Transportation to and from Summer School classes is the responsibility for the parent/guardian. All children are expected to leave school grounds when their classes have concluded.
- For the safety and security of all students and staff, parents and visitors are not allowed in the school building during Summer School classes without the permission of the school administration or class teacher. Any parent/visitor allowed in must check in at the office and receive a visitor's badge.
- Any non-student or non-staff person in the building without a valid visitor's badge will be subject to arrest and prosecution.
